Location: Gowrie, IA

If you’re looking for a young mule with size, a good mind, and real-world experience, take a look at Rita! Rita is a 4 year old sorrel Molly mule standing 15.3 hands. She is sound, broke to ride, and more whoa than go. For only being 4 years old, this girl has already been out and seen quite a bit! Rita has been trail ridden extensively and will cross water, logs, bridges, ditches, mud, and whatever else you point her toward. She is comfortable riding the trails with dogs running around and can lead the group or follow behind without a fuss. She is also not buddy sour, so she doesn’t need another horse or mule glued to her side to get the job done. She has also been ridden in parades and handled all the commotion. She has also been ridden around the chuckwagon races in Clinton, Arkansas, both during the day and at night, giving her exposure to plenty of activity, noise, horses, wagons, people, and excitement. Rita is a big, pretty young Molly with a solid foundation and a whole lifetime ahead of her. She already has the kind of exposure that is hard to put a price on. Keep using her and finishing her your way, and she should make someone one heck of a nice using and trail mule!
