Part of Jones Livestock Auction THURSDAY MAY 7TH - Jones, Oklahoma (live auction by Horse Auctions USA)
Location: Jones, OK
Status: Sold
Please take a moment to read through the overview of how goats and sheep sell online here. We will be putting preview photos of consigned goats and sheep ALL HERE ON THIS LOT so you can take a peek at them and we'll put a little blurb about any specifics on consigned goats below. ***If a particular animal will be selling individually, we will list it here with accompanying photos & tag number on Thursday. Otherwise, this lot will contain an index of photos & descriptions so you folks at home can get an idea of some of the goats and sheep that will be offered As our company name implies, Horse Auctions USA was designed for offering horse auctions online and the set up & bidding process is quite a bit different than the programs made for high volume livestock sales such as those who handle large numbers of goats. We've adjusted things to try and give everyone the smoothest bidding experience and will continue to make improvements as we find what works best and what doesn't! So far, using "placeholder goat/sheep" listings (as outlined below) seems to work best for our online goat bidders! ***A Word About Goats*** We sell a LOT of goats & sheep and at a rapid pace. With the exception of select specialty type animals, goats and sheep will always sell "times the money" so you'll be taking all the animals in the ring whether it be 3 or 6. In order to offer goats and sheep online AND keep up with the pace of the auction, goats will be listed as "goat/sheep" with generic tag numbers online. In other words, the tag number/lot number you see in front of you online for a goat IS NOT the tag number that is actually on the goat. If we have specific advertised goats that are offered individually or as choice, we will have the correct tag numbers listed on those. This is the most efficient way for us to offer online bidding on all goats AND keep the pace with the auctioneer. Don't worry, when you come to pick up your goats, you'll be getting the ones you saw in the ring when you bid - we just don't want people to get hung up/confused by the online tag number. :) Think of the goat tag number you see online as a placeholder only. DO NOT place bids on this lot. This is an informational lot only.
