Location: Colfax, IA

Status: Sold

Mouse is a 14-year-old grey mare who has been part of our family for over 10 years. She is an extremely easy keeper, maintaining great condition on hay and pasture only—she has never needed grain in the time we’ve owned her. She also has excellent hooves and requires very little maintenance. Mouse has mostly spent her years toting kids around for short rides, but she has also been on trail rides and a few horse shows. She’s quiet, easy to be around, and loves attention—always the first one to the gate. She gets along well with other animals and currently shares a pasture with our mini bulls and a mini Brahma steer. She holds her ground without being a pasture bully. Our kids have grown up and no longer ride, so it’s hard to see her just sit in the pasture. She’s been a wonderful horse for our family and deserves someone new to enjoy and love her.
