Part of Milam Mules Select Mule Sale - Sikeston, Missouri February 28th (live auction by Horse Auctions USA)

Location: Sikeston, MO

Status: Sold

Consigned by Miss Crystal Rutledge Danny is a 9 year old, 13.3 to 14 hands tall, sorrel john mule. Danny is broke to drive double, rides and packs. He has been high lined, hobbled and is electric fence broke. He was purchased from a family in Iowa where he was a yard mount for small children. During the time we have owned Danny, he has been a pleasure wagon mule and handles with relative ease. He has pulled a race wagon for the 2025 ACWRA race season, racing both 2 and 4 up big mule division and competed at Clinton Arkansas in 4 up mule class. Danny has carried a pack saddle on multiple overnight trips, items for around 70 miles on the Ozark trial last Spring during which we had no issues. He was high lined and or hobbled during this trip and preformed wonderfully. When camping for races, Danny is most likely kept in a single strand hotwire and never has attempted to jump out. Danny has been hog and squirrel hunted, from where he has had dogs and excitement all around him. He takes it all in stride. Danny gets along with other animals fine in or out of the pasture. He travels well under saddle and is a smooth riding mule that takes different trails in stride. To our knowledge Danny is sound and sane in every way.
