#25 • Black and White paint mare

Part of Colfax Horse Sale - SUNDAY, JANUARY 18TH - Colfax, Iowa (live auction by Horse Auctions USA)

Location: Colfax, IA

Status: Sold

16- Year-Old Grade Black-White Mare around 15hh tall. She has been a used in 4-H events, trail riding, parades, and overnight camping trips. She is comfortable in a group but is not the lead horse. This mare is quiet with a “more whoa than go” mindset, making her a great fit for a rider looking for a calm, steady partner rather than a forward or hot horse. She is low on the pecking order in the herd and is very much a follower, not a leader. She stands well for both the farrier and veterinarian. With the kids now in high school and involved in sports, she has not been getting the consistent use she deserves. This is a solid, seasoned mare looking for a home where she can get regular riding and attention.
