# 34 • Captain VIDEO

Part of Reno County Stockyards Horse Sale WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 12TH - South Hutchinson, KS (live auction by Horse Auctions USA)

Location: South Hutchinson, KS

Status: Sold

This is Captain! He's in his 20s - was registered but we never got his papers. Stands around 15.3 hands. We bought him when our son wanted to start roping. He is the perfect beginner head horse! Puts you exactly where you need to be. Captain is sweet as can be, easy to haul and handle. Loves attention, easy to trim and catch. Anyone can ride him. We've pasture roped and drug bulls with him. This gelding is very laid back but knows his job when you back him into the box. The first year our son roped, he got his team into the Top 15 in the state! Pistol decided to switch to heeling and the rest of the kids ride bulls so we no longer have a job for Captain. If you've got a kid that is serious about learning to rope, THIS is your guy!
