Part of Reno County Stockyards Horse Sale WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 10TH - South Hutchinson, KS (live auction by Horse Auctions USA)

Location: South Hutchinson, KS

Status: Sold

4-year old 1/2 Percheron 1/2 Quarter Horse gelding. This big boy stands 16HH and yes he can do it all. Groot has been working on our cow/calf operation in Iowa the past year and a half. He has done all the ranch duties; doctoring, pairing out, and clear cattle out of the brush. We took him to a couple branding this spring in the Nebraska Sandhills where he did exceptionally well. Absolutely nothing scars this guy, he did amazing around the commotion and fires in the branding pen for his first time. He pulls good at the horn and will track. He has the best personality and is a joy to be around. Beginners get along great with him. He will go wherever you point and through whatever you ask of him. He will make someone a great ranch horse or just trail buddy; and yes he does enjoy a cold one after a long day. Check out his video
