Part of Springfield Livestock Horse Sale FRIDAY AUGUST 29TH - Springfield, MO (live auction by Horse Auctions USA)

Location: Springfield, MO

Status: Sold

Super kind, fun to ride 13-14 year old dark sorrel Quarter/Morgan cross gelding. Ridden on cows for 4 years checking calving cows and pairs, changing pastures, sorting, etc. We've been using him on our ranch since we bought him in 2021. 14.1 hands and nice build. Neck reins, backs up, side passes and opens gates, WTL. We have had him for 4.5 years and he's never taken a lame step. This boy is really sweet and great to be around. Rides off by himself or alone. Easy to catch, easy to bridle and easy to get on. Rides bareback and in a halter. We're selling him with a little curb bit that he goes well in. Crawl underneath or over, no problem. No buck, no bite and very kind. He would make a nice adult or experienced kids horse, but he's got a good engine when asked, so not for a beginner. He loves attention and scratching. He is an easy keeper and stays fat on grass hay. We've been riding him barefoot for 3 years. Easy to trim, difficult to shoe. Can be shod with 1.5 cc of Dormosedan. He was wormed in July with Ivermectin, vaccinated with 4 way in June and recently trimmed.
