Location: Cuba, MO

Status: Sold

“Chica” 11yo BLM Mustang mare from Wyoming, dapple/flea bitten grey, 14.1hh. Gentle - Bred by the wild, trained with patience, proven under saddle on all terrains and water crossings for 7+ years. She washes in cross ties, loads into trailer, does great for the farrier although she has never needed shoes due to “diamond solid” feet and mustang barefoot trims. Trail horse deluxe - this mare is sure footed and thrives when in the wilderness exploring. She is calm, confident overall, and unshakeable on the trail head. She has endurance for miles and whether you’re heading out for a weekend ride or tackling rough backcountry terrain, Chica will get you there and back. She’s just as comfortable in the arena- with smooth gaits and vertical collection, she’s responsive to cues and has a willing attitude that makes her a pleasure to ride whether you’re schooling, training, or just enjoying a quiet ride. She is considered “fancy broke.” She’s also an Easy keeper in the winter! This horse always makes the best use of her feed and gets along with most other four legged creatures. She was ridden throughout the week this year at Baker Spain Stampede and never missed a beat!
