Smooth Hancock Blues 2022 Bay Roan AQHA Stud Colt (Rocky Mountain Blues X Cowboy Ginger) Ripley is technically an unstarted two year old, but has had one ride. He is well behaved, not mouthy, and in your pocket. Unstarted to no fault of his own, he’s just been growing out in the pasture. He was used in June for a colt starting demonstration where he did get his first ride put on him. It was his first time ever being inside an arena, around a big crowd and being handled by strangers, but he reacted great and took it all in stride.  YouTube video is of his first ride. His sire Rocky Mountain Blues has earned over $150k LTE in NCHA and is by the great SMOOTH AS A CAT. Dam has Sugar Bars, Peppy San Badger, and Hancock lines in her pedigree. Ripley leads, ties, loads, stands for farrier, stands for baths, is easy to worm, lunges and moves off pressure. He is a quick learner and is really fun to work with. He currently stands 13.1hh at the withers and 13.2hh at the hip. Definitely still growing, two months ago he measured 13hh at the withers and 13.1hh at the hip.
