Stella - Check out this absolutely stunning horse! This nine-year-old,14.1 hand, Appaloosa mare is a true beauty, with her leopard coat, solid build, and correct confirmation making her the center of attention wherever she goes. Now, let me tell you, this girl is not just a pretty face. She's a trot that's out of this world, and she's as fancy as it gets. For the past few years, she's been a broodmare, and she's been a great mom. Personally, I would love to cross her with her Friesian, but she throws beautiful babies regardless. What's really impressive about this mare is her sensitivity. She responds to the subtle body cues during groundwork sessions, making her pretty neat to work with. Stella is best suited for a calm, confident rider who can handle her sensitive nature. She's not one to be molded with force, but with patience and kind, but firm expectations, the sky's the limit for her. Give her a minute or two to check things out and think, and she'll be 100% willing to do just about anything you ask.she can get a little amped up when you first start riding her. However, she's not dirty, just forward-moving. Her favorite thing in the world is trail riding, she would literally try to go back to the trails when you are trying to be done and her ears are pricks straightforward the entire time she’ll walk all day long on a loose rein down the trail. Trotting and caring she definitely covers some ground, but she’s easily controlled. She’s really honestly the complete opposite of most horses and rides better outside of an arena. She will pick you up off the fence for mounting and stand quietly while you get situated on her. And is in the beginning stages of learning how to drive. She’s happy to be stalled or live out, with or without other horses. She stands quietly anywhere you try her up. She’s got pretty good at loading herself into the trailer. Stall has been hauled to see the sites, lots of trail riding, to the beach where she enjoyed the ocean, and to local fun shows for jumping. She shows potential as a lower level jumper, but has only recently started over jumps. She has the agility and quickness to be a phenomenal barrel or pole horse. In a consistent work routine, she has continued to improve and gain confidence extremely quickly. She has recently had everything from dental work to multiple bodywork in chiropractic sessions, and been treated for any gut issues to make sure she is pain-free. She was a mess when she first came to us. Her improvements are night and day difference and only getting better with each day that passes. Though, she’s probably not a horse for everyone, but I guarantee she would try, with all her heart, that special someone willing to take the time to develop a bond with her.
