Goin Down Sweet - 2013 Brown AQHA Appendix Gelding (Sweet First Down X Weeza Goin Dancin) Brownie, a 16-hand tall, 1,300-pound seal brown gelding, is a true 1D barrel horse. He has proven himself in both open rodeos and jackpots, as well as competing in various age groups within the National Barrel Horse Association (NBHA). Brownie excels in both large outdoor arenas and smaller indoor venues, making him a versatile competitor. His powerful build and speed make him a standout, though he is best suited for experienced riders due to his quickness and agility. A son of Sweet First Down and out of a stakes-producing, money-earning mare with Dash for Cash bloodlines, Brownie boasts an 80-speed index on the racetrack. With no gate or alley issues, he is an accomplished athlete in high school and college rodeos. In addition to his barrel racing career, Brownie has been used for various ranch tasks and is reliable on trails. He is low-maintenance, needing no special equipment or care, and thrives whether in a stall or outdoors. Known for his impeccable ground manners, Brownie is a personable horse who loves attention. He is well-behaved for the farrier and an easy keeper, making him a pleasure to have around the barn. His athleticism, combined with his sweet nature, makes him an exceptional horse for the right rider.  Call John 319 721-7714 with any questions!
